Tin Cup Storyline
Romantic comedy about a small-town Texas golf pro who qualifies for and enters the US Open golf tournament to win the respect and love of his rival's girlfriend.

Tin Cup goofs
- CONT: The positioning of Roy's glass of milk while he and Romeo are discussing the Open and putting together the puzzle in the Winnebago.
- CONT: When Roy visits Molly at her office, his collar is sometimes well-adjusted and sometimes the left side larger then the right.
- CHAR: According to the US Golf Association, a player can borrow a ball from another player, so if Roy hit his last ball into the water, he would not necessarily have been disqualified, as Romeo stated.
- FACT: On the second hole of the final round Roy's ball runs just short of the green after hitting it off the toilet but Roy is still given credit for hitting the green.
- CONT: In the bar following the first round of the US Open, the Brickyard 400 NASCAR race is on the TVs. This race is held the first weekend of August every year; the US Open is always in June.
